We went last night for my mum's birthday. Absolutely perfect service. They messed up the order a little bit but provided a quick alternative and an extra cocktail at no charge. The food was a little too spicy for my mum so they again quickly offered an alternative at no charge, no questions asked. My only criticism would be the hefty deposit (retaining the card details) to secure the booking. I feel that this may put some people off although I understand the reasons behind them requesting this. All in all, an excellent service, highly recommended, the food was absolutely delicious, and we will definitely go back again

First visit with friends to celebrate a birthday.10/10. Been vegan for the past 20 years and I very rarely eat outside of my husbands cooking. I struggle to find a variety of freshly cooked well seasoned and tasting foods. This place ticked every single box for me. Absolutely amazing everything I had. My husband is a chef and yes I'm spoiled with tasty food. I can say the chef here is on point. I fully enjoyed my evening and I am definitely going to go back. Very happy customer. Excellent service also. The one thing I'd suggest is vegan coleslaw .

My partner and I chose Coco's out of the numerous Caribbean restaurants (starting from Sydenham area). DECOR: 10/10 Firstly, the decor is absolutely classy: ornate gold touches throughout, mixed with a tropical, demure , yet authentic setting. Expect tropical trees within, elegant Black and gold finishes with waiting staff smartly attired. The toilets are downstairs in a basement, where the level of finish did not stop. I was amazed to be greeted with beautiful gold wash basins, intricate palm tree bag hooks and a very polished finished! There's also a hidden enclave, with a separate dining area, once again elegantly decorated, a private bar - fitting for a private function of maybe 50 guests. Soo lovely! FOOD: 10/10 I ordered my favourite Jerk chicken, which was served on a clean and artistry styled almond shaped plate..it came with rice n peas, plantain, coleslaw and salad, with a separate petite jug with jerk sauce to control your level of heat. The heat was low-mid and soo flavoursome. As a caribbean person, used to mama's food at home and dined many places , this hit the spot!! My partner ordered the steak, which arrived on a cooking plate so was sizzling for 10 minutes after it was served! It's so refreshing to find a Caribbean restaurant that's classy, like other well known restaurants and still provides top notch food! I wish there were more franchises, especially out in the 'shires' too! Well done to Coco's! Drinks: 10/10 The rum punch was on point!! Ambience: 10/10 A delighted surprise that a bottomless brunch was underway, so great lovers rock, rnb was playing amongst a gaggle of happy, beautiful restaurateurs. I loved the music, made my day! Service: 9/10 The service was great but a little slow. But I understand new staff were being trained at the time and there was often a gather of staff but no one always watching the diners to see if they needed service. That being said our newly trained waiter was so polite, courteous and helpful 10/10 Overall an amazing afternoon date with my darling partner

The food!!! Honestly, it was SO GOOD!! I popped in on a whim and I’m so glad I did. I had the akee/butternut squash/avocado/plantain salad - it was incredible and the size of a main, I also had the grilled prawns, they were huge fresh and cooked with jut the right amount of spice. Glass of house wine all just ‘chefs kiss’ . On top of this the music was just perfection really chill good vibes, the interior is like a forest and the staff are so helpful and attentive. It feels like oasis you wouldn’t believe you’re beside a massive intersection. I am definitely coming back and I recommend if you are looking for an amazing food place in Crystal Palace to check it out.

We had a delicious birthday meal here last night. Lovely decor, atmosphere, service and great food. The boneless goat curry is really delicious and also loved the ackee & salted cod croquettes, tempura jackfruit, scallops and roasted butternut squash. The slow cooked oxtail in the red wine reduction also has a really amazing flavour. The only thing with that one is if you prefer lean meat I'd go for the goat instead as the oxtail has quite a high fat to meat ratio. The dessert menu all looks really good though we were too full to try any - we'll be back another time to try those!

Stumbled upon Cocos in Crystal Palace. A gem of a restaurant, really nice ambiance, very good service (shoutout to Megan ), and delicious food incredibly presented (with a bit of theatre to each dish). Would definitely go again.

Incredible Caribbean Food & Amazing Service! Had an amazing experience at Cocos in Crystal Palace! I ordered the lobster platter with a side of macaroni and cheese absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The rest of my group tried the oxtail, curry goat, pork belly, plantain, and scallops everyone was seriously impressed. We ended on a sweet note with Eton Mess and apple crumble, both of which were rich and satisfying. The service was excellent throughout – friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The vibe in the restaurant was warm and relaxed, making it a perfect spot for a great evening out. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic Caribbean flavours and top-notch hospitality!
